2012 Law Month

May 1, 2012
We began Law Month with a Law Day Celebration that was held on the grounds of the Lackawanna County Courthouse. The theme for this year is “I Have A Dream…” inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 “March on Washington” speech. We were addressed by Mr. Sherman Wooden, educator, author, and lecturer. Remarks were also made by Attorney Morey Myers. A reception immediately followed the ceremony in the Atrium of the William J. Nealon Federal Building.
